Beekman 1802 Milk Shake review
Goats Milk Skincare… Does that phrase evoke curiosity or downright fear for you? Fear not my friends, goats milk based skincare is here to stay. Beekman 1802 sent me an amazing skincare lineup to test and I cannot tell you how impressed I am! Stay Tuned for in-depth reviews on all of the products they sent me! Today is their Milk Shake hyaluronic acid & squalane facial toner mist.
From the brand: Clinically Kind® is the Beekman 1802 approach to skincare that’s clinically tested, scientifically proven, and made for sensitive skin (and sensitive people). Effective clean formulations that work with your skin, not against it.
My skin can certainly lean towards the sensitive side, and I can absolutely confirm that Beekman’s Products are A OK for those of us with sensitivity issues. Their products have been working wonders on my redness and keeping my skin plump and moisturized without a single breakout!
On to the review…
Beekman 1802 Milk Shake is first up. This very hydrating toner mist is full of hyaluronic acid (which can hold 1000x it’s weight in water! hellooooo hydration!) and squalane an emollient that prevents transepidermal water loss and protects the skin locking that HA moisture in! 🤓
Also on this powerhouse ingredient list:
Mugwort which is an ancient super herb & proven adaptogen that relieves stress and redness- Beekman’s alternative to harsh alcohol for sensitive skin.
Goat Milk & Probiotic Extracts to feed and nourish the skin’s microbiome to keep it balanced. The more we discover about the body’s microbiome, the more important this is becoming!
Jojoba Oil. As if the squalane wasn’t enough to lock moisture in, Jojoba Oil is a natural occlusive that creates a physical barrier on the skin, helping to lock in moisture and hydration. This also contributes to the product’s bi-phase consistency that requires a bit of shaking to mix it up prior to use!
The brand claims this product will provide 8 hours of hydration, 111% increase in hydration after 8 hours, and a 45% increase in hydration after one use. I can’t give exact numbers, but I would say I experienced all of these increases and then some!
Overall, I rank this product high on my list of must-haves. If you have sensitive skin that is in need of a hydration boost, this is your ticket! You can grab a bottle for $34 here.
Stay tuned for more honest reviews of Beekman 1802’s products and many others!
